Heavy Mechanical FitterMechanical TechnicianOverhaul TechnicianWe are looking for an experienced Mechanical Technician to carry out Heavy maintenance on a fleet of Rail vehicles in Cardiff on a 6 month Contract basis.This role has a rate of 18.87 ph PAYE or 25.06 Umb - 36 hours a week (with possible overtime), Monday to Friday Days Earlies and Lates on a rotation The individuals must have experience in some form of heavy underframe overhaul or a relatable industry such as Vehicle maintenance, heavy engineering (REME, HGV, PSV etc)Your TasksCarry out maintenance and overhaul of Rail Vehicles to laid down standards and proceduresWorking on the underframes of rail vehicles to refit/replace components as part of the overhaul.Your ProfileEssential: Experienced engineer, qualified to NVQ Level 3.Proven experience, involvement and understanding of vehicle maintenance activities such as Rail underframe or bogie overhauls or a relevant ulterior disciplineIf you are interested in this exciting opportunity, Please Apply now TXM Recruit is an equal opportunities employer.
