As part of their ongoing growth, they now have an opportunity for a Mechanical Technician to support the Tooling Team.THE ROLE: Supporting the Tooling Team with tool changes, cleaning and maintenance activities to ensure continuity and minimum disruption to production. Duties will include:- Assembly and changing of production tooling. Clean down. Analysis of tooling condition and reporting of defects and issues. Support in any required maintenance or upgrades. Updating of tooling maintenance records THE CANDIDATE: Previous experience in a Mechanical role, servicing, maintaining or carrying out basic repairs (open to industry or mechanical application). Use of hand-tools and associated equipment. Relevant qualifications would be a benefit, but transferable skill set is more important.
