Test TechnicianLocation: Titchfield Industry: Aerospace ManufacturingAbout the RoleWe are currently recruiting for a Test Technician to join an innovative and rapidly growing aerospace manufacturer based in Titchfield. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a forward-thinking organisation as it prepares to transition into a brand-new, purpose-built facility.The successful candidate will play a key role in the testing and validation of mechanical valve components, ensuring all products meet stringent aerospace standards.Key ResponsibilitiesConduct pressure and fuel testing on mechanical valves using specialised test rigsPerform leak detection, identifying both internal and external leaksSet up and operate fuel test environments safely, following all PPE and safety requirementsMeasure and verify torque requirements and pressure flow ratesCarry out shimming and component adjustments to achieve correct cracking pressureInterpret technical drawings, specifications, and written test procedures accuratelyRecord and report test results in line with company standardsIdentify and log non-conformances using the internal databaseFollow DESAR working practices and contribute to 5S/TPM continuous improvement activitiesMaintain a clean, safe, and organised work environmentSkills and Experience RequiredPrevious experience working with pressure and/or fuel test rigsKnowledge of mechanical valve testing within a manufacturing or aerospace environmentAbility to detect and ..... full job details .....
