Mechanical Technician Salary and Benefits Starting salary: 36,005Salary after 6 months: 37,995Salary once signed off as competent: 40,540Hours: 37 hours per weekTraining provided against a competence profile (including specialist training where required)Rostered on-call requirement and short-notice overtime availability About the RoleWe''re recruiting a Mechanical Technician to support operations at OFD Finnart, carrying out routine and planned mechanical maintenance and responding to equipment issues to keep the site operating safely and efficiently. You''ll work closely with the wider team, following robust process safety and permit-to-work procedures, and maintaining high compliance standards across all tasks. Key Responsibilities Carry out routine maintenance, planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and corrective works to site mechanical equipment.Respond promptly to equipment breakdowns, diagnose faults and complete repairs or arrange replacements.Fit and assemble mechanical components using appropriate machinery and hand tools.Complete job documentation accurately (e.g., Job Request Sheets, Planned Maintenance Cards) and keep line management updated on progress.Carry out checks, quality inspections and support calibration activities where required.Participate in oil spill techniques/response activities as required.Join a rostered on-call team and support short-notice overtime when operationally necessary.Support site operations for receipt/issue of POL products to H.M. ..... full job details .....
