It is varied, genuinely hands-on work, service, repair, maintenance, installation, fault-finding and inspection, on a four-on, four-off, 12-hour shift pattern. Be clear on one thing: this is an outdoor role, with up to 90% of your time spent outside across operational plant areas, often at height and in all weathers.
