Mechanical Technician

If you''re an experienced Mechanical Technician with a heavy industry background looking for a new challenge, we have just the opportunity for you! You will the facility in the planning and execution of all mechanical engineering tasks, including setting standards and implementing Preventative Maintenance Schedules (PM''s), Cleaning Inspection and Lubrication (CIL''s) and maintenance tasks on maintenance shuts. Please note: The salary range advertised is based on a package comprising of the basic annual salary, equalised holiday pay, and on-call payment. This package may vary slightly each year based on your total working hours in the previous year, and as such, total hours worked this year will inform next year''s overall package. More information will be provided throughout the recruitment process. Your working pattern will be Days based (Monday to Friday) as well as 1-in-4 week callouts. About the Role Your day-to-day as a Mechanical Technician: Ensuring mechanical maintenance activities are performed in compliance with environmental and safety rules, and Group procedure. Assist with the screening and actioning of non-breakdown mechanical work requests, and carrying out regular mechanical troubleshooting and repairs on machinery and equipment. Executing all planned and reactive maintenance activities.
