Mechanical Technician

A leading international oil and gas company is looking for an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join its maintenance team at Wytch Farm, Dorset.This is an opportunity to join an established operational site and play a key role in maintaining the reliability, safety and efficiency of critical production equipment.The successful candidate shall work as part of a team to manage the maintenance and operational monitoring of mechanical equipment to ensure safe, environmentally sound, reliable, and efficient operation of the Wytch Farm production facility.Mechanical Maintenance Technician Location: Wytch Farm, Dorset Shift Pattern: 4 x 10.5-hour shifts, 06:45-17:15, rotating Monday/Tuesday startKey Responsibilities Include:Plan and execute scheduled preventive and breakdown maintenance activities on the following:Machinery (including pumps, compressors, combustion engines, fin fans, gearboxes) and associated auxiliary equipment and systems (including fuel, air and water utilities, sealing and lubrication systems etc.)Hydraulic and pneumatic systems.Piping systems, including PSVs, valves, filters, and associated equipmentCarry out all activities to company standards and proceduresRaise relevant permits within the agreed time periodReport relevant maintenance data for reliability analysisParticipate in failure investigations and identify reliability issuesGenerate new work requests to highlight plant and equipment faultsDevelop and review operational and maintenance ..... full job details .....
