This role would be suitable for: Car Mechanic, Automotive Technician, Mechanical Technician, Ex forces Engineers etc

We are looking for Mechanical Fitters on an initial contract basis to work for an engineering company in Doncaster-then move to Burton.

The standard rate for this role is -24.70ph Umb/-18.20 PAYE (inside IR35) with overtime enhancements after 37 hrs.- The role is expected to be Monday to Friday days predominantly with some Afternoons (paid at a 20% uplift), 37 hours per week with occasional overtime.

This will be a 3/4 Months training at Doncaster with Mileage paid for travel to this depot (30p per mile) and other enhancements.

The role will then move to a new facility being built in Barton under Needwood (Burton upon Trent, DE13 area) where there will be the opportunity to go permanent after a short while.

Position Summary:
To carry out Mechanical fitting work on Rolling Stock and related components

Person Profile/Experience:

• Prior Rolling Stock experience is Desirable but not essential
• Good Mechanical experience is essential
• Level 3 Qualified or equivalent
• Good attitude and willing to be flexible

You must also be able to pass a Medical, Drug & Alcohol screening.
