We''re looking for a hands-on, detail-oriented Equipment Support Technician to join our Operations Test Team.In this role, you''ll support the maintenance, repair, and servicing of production equipment across our manufacturing lines - helping to keep downtime to a minimum and ensure smooth day-to-day operations.What You''ll Be Doing:Assisting the Senior Equipment Support Technician with equipment repairs, servicing, and preventative maintenance.Troubleshooting issues, disassembling machinery, replacing components, and calibrating or realigning equipment as needed.Providing first-line technical support to production teams.Working independently at times to support engineers and technicians on repair tasks.Maintaining a strong focus on precision, accuracy, and safety in all tasks.What We''re Looking For:Experience in small mechanical assembly (e.g., clock or watchmaking, or other fine mechanical work).Previous experience using or maintaining fibre-related equipment is a plus.A genuine interest in working with precision mechanical parts.A methodical, patient approach and strong attention to detail.Ability to manage and prioritise tasks with minimal supervision.Adaptability and willingness to work in a fast-paced, ..... full job details .....
