This is a long-term opportunity for practical, hands-on mechanical professionals who are comfortable working in a site, workshop or engineering environment and supporting engineers and technicians with mechanical activities. Candidates with experience working within nuclear, defence, pharmaceutical, energy or other highly regulated environments would be particularly well suited to the role.Key ResponsibilitiesSupport engineers, technicians and skilled trades with day-to-day mechanical activities.Carry out basic mechanical assembly, fitting and dismantling activities.Assist with the preparation of work areas, tools, materials and equipment.Use hand tools and mechanical equipment safely and effectively.Assist with the movement, handling and positioning of equipment and materials.Support workshop and site-based engineering activities.Assist with deliveries, storage and organisation of materials and equipment.Maintain a clean, safe and organised working environment.Follow site procedures and health and safety requirements.Correctly use PPE and comply with site safety ..... full job details .....
