Wolviston Management Services are recruiting on behalf of Tioxide Materials Ltd for a Mechanical Technical Authority to join their Engineering team at their manufacturing facility in Greatham, Hartlepool, please see details below; Job Purpose: The Mechanical Technical Authority provides technical leadership and governance for all mechanical assets across the Greatham site. The role is responsible for defining engineering standards, ensuring compliance with statutory and corporate requirements, maintaining mechanical asset integrity, approving engineering practices and supporting long-term reliability and lifecycle management strategies. The Mechanical Technical Authority acts as a technical approver for significant mechanical engineering decisions and ensures that mechanical risks are identified, assessed and controlled throughout the asset lifecycle. Roles and Responsibilities: Technical Authority and Governance: Act as the designated Mechanical Technical Authority within the site Technical Authority Framework. Own and maintain the site''s mechanical engineering standards, specifications and engineering procedures. Provide mechanical engineering assurance to support COMAH compliance, review and approve technical deviations and act as the site mechanical subject matter expert.
