Mechanical Team Leader

Your new company Our client is a leading process manufacturing business operating a 24/7 production facility, where safety, reliability and continuous improvement are at the heart of the operation. Due to an internal departure, they are seeking an experienced Mechanical Team Leader to take ownership of a highly skilled mechanical maintenance team, ensuring plant performance, reliability and operational excellence across the site.This is a key leadership position within the maintenance function, offering the opportunity to influence maintenance strategy, drive continuous improvement initiatives and develop a high-performing team in a complex industrial environment.Your new role As Mechanical Team Leader, you will lead a team of approximately 6 mechanical technicians within a wider maintenance department of around 20 personnel. This is predominantly a leadership-focused role, with around 70% of your time spent managing people, planning work and coordinating maintenance activities, and 30% supporting operational priorities on site.Reporting to the Maintenance Manager, you will oversee planned, preventative and corrective maintenance activities, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently and to the highest standards.
