MECHANICAL SUPERVISORCarbon60 is looking to recruit experienced Mechanical Supervisors to support a long-term project with a leading construction and engineering client. This is an excellent opportunity to join a major project with a strong pipeline of work.ROLE: Mechanical SupervisorRATE: £31.50 per hour (Umbrella) - based on a 43-hour week (some flexibility depending on experience)CONTRACT: 2 YearsLOCATION: St Mawgan, Newquay, UKTHE ROLE:You will be responsible for overseeing mechanical work packages on-site, ensuring delivery is carried out safely, efficiently, and to a high standard. This role focuses on managing subcontractors rather than direct labour, ensuring all activities align with project timelines and quality expectations.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: Manage and oversee mechanical work packages across the project Supervise subcontractors on-site, ensuring performance and productivity Ensure all work is completed in line with project specifications and deadlines Monitor quality, safety, and compliance with site procedures Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and other trades Conduct site inspections and resolve technical or operational issues Ensure all health and safety standards and regulations are adhered to Maintain accurate site records and progress reportsESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor within construction or building services projects Strong experience managing subcontractors and work packages Good understanding of ..... full job details .....
