Mechanical Supervisor

VGC Group are currently recruiting for a Mechanical Supervisor to join our team on a major project in Bristol.

This is a great opportunity for a reliable and hard-working individual looking to secure long term work and be part of one of the UKs largest projects. You will play a key role in the delivery of this major infrastructure project, working within a safe, high-performing and collaborative environment.

Pay rate: £33.00PAYE
Hours: Monday - Friday 7am-5pm + overtime potential
Start Date: ASAP

Lodge pay can be offered if the successful candidate meets the criteria.

As a Mechanical Supervisor your duties will include but not be limited to:

*Supervising and coordinating mechanical trades and subcontractors on site
*Manage day to day mechanical installation, maintenance and repair activities
*Ensure works are completed safely, efficiently and in accordance to project specifications and drawings
*Coordinate mechanical activities with other teams
*Review RAMS, permits, drawings and other relevant construction documentation before work commences
*Support planned and reactive maintenance
*Carry out site inspections and ensure compliance with HSE requirements

To be considered for this role, you must have:
*CSCS
*NVQ Level 3 in Engineering Maintenance (Fluid Power) OR NVQ Level 3 Mechanical Maintenance OR NVQ Level 3 Machinery Maintenance
*SMSTS or SSSTS
*Safety Critical Medical (desirable)
