About the Role

We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join our team on a large scale commercial construction project. The successful candidate will oversee day to-day mechanical site operations, ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards.

This role is ideal for someone with strong leadership skills and a solid background in mechanical building services within commercial construction environments.

Mechanical Supervisor Key Responsibilities

• Supervise mechanical installation works including HVAC, pipework, plumbing, and ventilation systems
• Coordinate and manage mechanical subcontractors and site operatives
• Ensure works are carried out in line with drawings, specifications, and project programme
• Monitor productivity and maintain high quality workmanship on site
• Conduct toolbox talks and ensure compliance with health & safety procedures
• Liaise with Project Managers, Site Managers, and other trades to ensure smooth project delivery
• Assist with inspections, testing, commissioning, and project handovers
• Identify and resolve site issues proactively

Mechanical Supervisor Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor on commercial construction projects
• Strong knowledge of mechanical building services installations
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• SSSTS/SMSTS certification preferred
• Valid CSCS card required
• Strong understanding of health & safety regulations and site procedures
