Mechanical Supervisor

Overview:
We are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to oversee works on a live commercial project. This is a hands-on role requiring strong leadership, coordination, and a proactive approach to managing mechanical installations while ensuring minimal disruption to ongoing operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate mechanical installation works on site
• Manage subcontractors and ensure work is completed to programme and quality standards
• Ensure compliance with health & safety regulations at all times
• Liaise with site management, clients, and other trades
• Conduct site inspections, toolbox talks, and progress reporting
• Resolve technical issues and ensure efficient workflow on a live site

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor on commercial projects
• Strong knowledge of HVAC, pipework, and mechanical systems
• Experience working in live environments (essential)
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification
• Valid CSCS card
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings

Mandatory:

• Enhanced DBS check (required due to project nature)

Desirable:

• First Aid qualification
• Experience on healthcare, education, or similar sensitive environments
