Hours: 50 Hours Per Week
Pay Type: LTD / Umbrella (Outside IR35)

-39.00 per hour - First 37 Hours
-41.34 per hour - After 37 Hours & First 4 Hours Saturday
-45.06 per hour - After 4 Hours Saturday / Sunday / Bank Holidays
PAYE Rates
-28.85 per hour - First 37 Hours
-30.58 per hour - After 37 Hours & First 4 Hours Saturday
-33.34 per hour - After 4 Hours Saturday / Sunday / Bank Holidays
Search Recruitment are currently seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to join our client on the prestigious Neu Connect HVDC project.
Working directly under the Site Manager, you will take responsibility for leading site teams, coordinating work fronts, monitoring progress, and ensuring works are delivered safely, efficiently, and to programme.
Essential Requirements:
- National Grid Person
- SSSTS or SMSTS
- CSCS or CCNSG Safety Passport
- 3 Day First Aid
- Mechanical Apprenticeship or NVQ Level 3 Qualification
- Previous Mechanical Supervisor experience
- Experience working on HV, EHV, Substation, HVDC, Power Generation, Renewable Energy or Heavy Industrial projects
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Supervise mechanical installation teams across multiple work fronts.
- Coordinate labour, plant, materials and engineering requirements.
- Drive programme delivery whilst maintaining quality standards.
- Liaise with site management, subcontractors and client representatives.
- Identify and communicate potential delays or disruptions.
- Ensure all activities are completed in accordance with QEHS procedures.
- Assist with project documentation and milestone deliverables.
- Promote a strong health, safety and environmental culture on site.
About You:
You will be an experienced Mechanical Supervisor with a proven background leading teams on major power, transmission, renewable energy, industrial or infrastructure projects. Strong leadership skills, a proactive approach to planning and a commitment to delivering work safely and efficiently are essential.
