Mechanical Supervisor

Client: My clients is a Tier 1 MandE contractor specialising in several sectors Pharmaceutical, Commercial, Data Centre and Petrochemical. The business has seen a significant amount of growth in the last 5 Years. With a traditional engineering mindset and reinvestment into new principals, the business expects the next two years to be a similar period of growth. After a successful year they now sit at a international turnover of over 300m.Role: Mechanical Supervisor - Surrey - 280- 320 per day (DoE)Reporting to a Project Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for managing a 50m (MandE value) project. Projects are typically new build commercial office shell and core, infrastructure upgrades or datacentres. Key to this role is managing the project at site level; ensuring it is completed on time, to a high quality and within budget. Duties include: Management of sub-contractors and labour Client liaison and attend site meetings Progress Reporting Responsible for all health and safety at site level including the preparation and issuing of RAMS and and tool box talks where appropriate Weekly HandS Returns Project and programme implementation Understanding of design and drawings Continuous snagging to minimise defects and errors Work with the Project Manager to manage the commissioning process and handover of the project The ideal candidate: Progressed from a tools background and have good technical knowledge of mechanical services Experience working in the ..... full job details .....
