Mechanical Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to oversee commercial- projects across Central London. Working with a leading M&E contractor, you will be responsible for managing site-based mechanical works, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate mechanical works on-site, including HVAC, pipework, and plumbing installations

• Liaise with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow

• Monitor site progress and report on timelines, quality, and compliance

• Ensure all work meets health & safety standards and statutory regulations

• Oversee material orders, deliveries, and on-site logistics

• Conduct toolbox talks and site inductions

• Assist in commissioning and handover of completed systems

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor on commercial M&E projects

• Strong knowledge of HVAC and mechanical building services installations

• SSSTS/SMSTS and valid CSCS card

• Excellent communication and leadership skills

• Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings and specifications

• Experience working on fast-paced projects in live environments (e.g., office fit-outs, retail, hospitality)

Desirable:

• NVQ Level 3 or higher in Mechanical Engineering or Building Services

• First Aid certification

• Experience with CAFM/BIM tools
