Job Title: Mechanical Supervisor

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor to oversee and coordinate mechanical installations on a construction project in Lincoln. This temporary role, offered through an agency, involves working with a reputable contractor to ensure the successful delivery of mechanical systems including LTHW, domestic water, ventilation, specialist plant, and soil & waste systems.
Key Responsibilities:Planning & Coordination:
- Schedule and manage the installation of LTHW, domestic water, ventilation, soil & waste, and specialist plant systems.
- Ensure works are executed in line with project timelines and quality standards.
Technical Review:
- Review mechanical drawings and specifications to ensure compliance and identify potential issues.
- Provide feedback and suggest improvements where necessary.
Material Management:
- Plan and coordinate timely delivery of materials to site.
- Liaise with the supply chain to ensure availability and quality of required components.
Stakeholder Coordination:
- Work closely with the supply team, subcontractors, and site operatives to ensure smooth workflow.
- Maintain clear communication with the client, addressing queries and providing updates.
Reporting & Documentation:
- Prepare and submit internal progress reports.
- Maintain accurate records of site activities, inspections, and installations.
- Proven experience in mechanical supervision within the building services or construction sector.
- Strong understanding of mechanical systems including LTHW, domestic water, ventilation, and specialist plant.
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications.
- Excellent communication and coordination skills.
- CSCS card and relevant site qualifications (e.g., SSSTS or SMSTS) preferred.
