A full-time role is available for an experienced Mechanical Site Supervisor to join a mechanical division operating across South Wales and the UK. This role is ideal for individuals who enjoy leading site operations on commercial new build and refurbishment projects, ensuring installations are delivered to a high standard and within programme timelines.

Key Responsibilities

- Supervise all aspects of mechanical installation on-site, ensuring compliance with drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
- Manage internal operatives and subcontractors, coordinating daily activities to maintain progress and efficiency.
- Oversee health, safety, and environmental compliance, including conducting toolbox talks and ensuring adherence to company policies and procedures.
- Monitor and report on site progress, attending client meetings and supporting communication between stakeholders.
- Assist with commissioning and handover processes, ensuring smooth project completion.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship using internal QA procedures to record and track quality throughout the project lifecycle.
- Collaborate closely with the Project Manager for guidance and support.

Entry Requirements

- Prior experience as a Mechanical Site Supervisor on large-scale commercial projects.
- NVQ Level 2 or 3 in Heating and Ventilation (Commercial), Building Services Installer/Craftsperson, or Plumbing Systems.
- Broad understanding of mechanical systems and installation methods.
- Previous experience managing subcontractors is desirable.
- Excellent attention to detail, multitasking ability, and time management skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and holds a full UK driving licence.

Typical Working Week

- 37 hours per week:

- Monday to Thursday: 8:00 AM – 4:00 PM
- Friday: 8:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Includes a 30-minute lunch break

- Occasional weekend work or overtime may be required.
- Willingness to work away from home during the week is essential; accommodation will be provided when necessary.

This role offers £47,000 - £50,000 + transport and expenses
