Mechanical Site Manager

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and driven Mechanical Site Manager to oversee mechanical installations on a large-scale commercial construction project. You will play a key role in ensuring works are delivered safely, on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.

Mechanical Site Manager Key Responsibilities

• Manage and coordinate all mechanical works on site (HVAC, plumbing, pipework, etc.)

• Supervise subcontractors and ensure compliance with project specifications

• Monitor progress against programme and report to senior management

• Ensure all health & safety regulations are strictly followed on site

• Conduct site inspections and quality control checks

• Resolve technical and operational issues efficiently

• Liaise with main contractors, consultants, and stakeholders

• Maintain accurate site records, reports, and documentation

Mechanical Site Manager Requirements

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Site Manager on commercial projects

• Strong knowledge of mechanical systems and installation processes

• SMSTS (Site Management Safety Training Scheme) certification

• CSCS card (relevant level)

• Excellent leadership and communication skills

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications

• Strong organisational and problem-solving abilities
