Mechanical Site Manager

We are currently recruiting on behalf of a-Mechanical contractor who is seeking an experienced Mechanical Supervisor / Site Manager to join their team on a long-term commercial project in Birmingham.

This is a minimum 50-week contract working on a -7.5M M&E office development, offering strong continuity of work and the opportunity to be part of a well-established and growing contractor with a strong pipeline of commercial and education projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Supervise mechanical installation works on a live construction site
• Work closely with the wider project management team to ensure successful delivery
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, and site teams
• Interpret mechanical drawings and assist with coordination
• Support pre-construction and design input where required
• Assist with site H&S compliance and documentation
• Oversee and mentor site teams, including apprentices

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Mechanical Supervisor or Site Manager within M&E
• Strong site-based supervisory background on commercial projects
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to manage subcontractors and site teams effectively
• SSSTS or SMSTS certification (essential)
• Organised, reliable, and strong attention to detail
