Mechanical Site Manager (6 month contract)

Your new company Our client is a well-established and highly respected off-site Mechanical, Electrical and Plumbing (MEP) fabrication specialist, delivering innovative and high-quality engineering solutions across the UK and Ireland.Due to the award of a significant healthcare project, they are seeking an experienced Temporary Mechanical Site Manager to oversee the installation of two steam boilers at a Hospital in Belfast.Your new role Reporting to the Project Management team, the successful candidate will take responsibility for the day-to-day management of site operations, ensuring the safe and efficient delivery of mechanical installation works within a live hospital environment.Key responsibilities will include:Managing and coordinating the installation of two steam boilers on site. Acting as the primary point of contact between the client, project stakeholders and operational teams. Supervising and coordinating subcontractors to ensure works are delivered safely, efficiently and to programme. Managing site documentation, permits, RAMS and all associated project paperwork. Monitoring progress and reporting against key project milestones. Ensuring full compliance with health, safety and environmental requirements. Conducting site inspections, toolbox talks and safety briefings.
