In this role, you’ll be working on sites predominantly based around the North West and Yorkshire to remove, install, repair and refurbish mechanical equipment, with some workshop-based work also required. Carrying out RAMS and risk assessments Removing and installing mechanical equipment Repairing and refurbishing industrial gearboxes and mechanical plant equipment Stripping and reassembling flanges, linkages and water authority equipment Working in pairs on site and supporting workshop activity when required Speaking with project engineers and planning upcoming work Taking your own hand tools, with other tools provided Bringing equipment back to the workshop if it cannot be repaired on site ...
