Mechanical Site-Based Engineer Samlesbury Salary up to £42,000 + OTE £55,000 + OvertimeWe are looking for an experienced and motivated Mechanical Site-Based Engineer to join a specialist engineering team working on the installation, servicing, and repair of advanced 5-axis CNC machine tools.This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled engineer with a strong mechanical background who enjoys fault finding, problem solving, and working within a customer-focused service environment.The RoleInstallation, servicing, and repair of 5-axis CNC milling machine toolsFault finding, diagnosis, and correction of mechanical issuesAssembly, set-up, and dismantling of hydraulic, pneumatic, and large mechanical assembliesWorking independently on customer sitesOccasional travel and working away from home when requiredThe Ideal CandidateTime-served engineer preferredPrevious experience working for a machine tool builder or within machine tool maintenanceStrong mechanical fault-finding and diagnostic skillsExperience within a field service or site-based engineering environmentComfortable working independently with good communication skillsExperience working on 5-axis CNC milling machines is highly desirablePackage and BenefitsSalary up to £42,000 depending on experienceOTE £55,000 with regular overtime availableAnnual company bonus37.5 basic hours per weekTypical working week of 45 hours (including overtime)Overtime paid at premium rate (1.25x)Matched contributory pension up to 7%27 days ..... full job details .....
