The Role As the Mechanical Shift Lead, you will oversee the delivery of planned and reactive maintenance across a high-profile commercial building while leading a team of engineers to ensure the highest standards of safety, compliance, and customer service. Key Responsibilities Lead and support a team of shift engineers. Carry out and oversee planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive maintenance. Ensure all mechanical plant and equipment operate safely and efficiently. Respond to critical plant failures and coordinate repairs. Manage contractors and specialist service providers on site. Ensure all statutory compliance and health and safety procedures are followed. Complete maintenance documentation and reporting accurately. Provide technical support and mentoring to the engineering team. Liaise with clients and management to maintain excellent service delivery.
