Mechanical Shift Engineer

Key Duties Carry out planned preventative and reactive maintenance. Fault-find and repair mechanical building services equipment. Maintain HVAC systems, pumps, motors, valves, and pipework. Respond to plant failures and emergency call-outs. Complete maintenance records and update the CAFM system. Ensure compliance with health and safety procedures. Work closely with the wider engineering team and contractors. Support continuous improvement and minor project works. Requirements NVQ Level 2, City and Guilds, or equivalent in Mechanical Engineering. Experience in commercial building maintenance or facilities management. Strong fault-finding and problem-solving skills. Good knowledge of mechanical building services and HVAC systems. Professional attitude with excellent communication skills.
