Mechanical Service Engineer - Heavy Industry
Salary: -40,000 - -47,000 + Bonus + Benefits | Mostly Local Travel (90%)

A leading engineering services provider for sectors such as Energy, Refinery, Utilities, and Aggregates is seeking a Mechanical Service Engineer. This is a hands-on, field-based role, with most sites within an hour''s drive.

• -40,000 - -47,000 (DOE) + annual bonus

• Extra travel payments + uncapped overtime

• Van, fuel card, tools, PPE, laptop, phone

• 28 days holiday + bank holidays

• Private healthcare + government pension

• Service & repair of rotating equipment (turbines, pumps, BOP systems)

• Fault diagnosis, condition assessments, and reporting

• Use of precision tools (micrometers, alignment equipment)

• Field & workshop-based work, including outages and projects

• 1-in-5 on-call rota, occasional UK travel

• ONC/HNC/NVQ in Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent)

• Proven experience with installation, repair & commissioning

• Strong skills in fault finding and technical reporting

• Full UK driving licence & ability to pass security checks

• Physically fit, self-motivated, professional attitude

Preferred: Heavy industry or power generation background, OEM turbine/pump experience.
