Mechanical Quality Inspector Havant, Hampshire 37 Hours Per Week Monday to Thursday Immediate Start Available 15 to 18 per hour DOE Are you an experienced Mechanical Quality Inspector with a background in precision engineering? Do you enjoy working in a quality-focused manufacturing environment where accuracy, attention to detail, and continuous improvement are valued? We are recruiting on behalf of a well-established precision engineering business supplying high-specification components and assemblies to highly regulated industries including aerospace, subsea, and oil and gas. The Role As a Mechanical Quality Inspector, you will play a key role in ensuring components meet customer specifications and quality standards before dispatch. Key Responsibilities Carry out mechanical and visual inspection of precision-machined components. Perform first-off, in-process, and final inspections. Use a range of inspection equipment including verniers, micrometers, gauges, and CMM equipment where required. Complete and maintain quality documentation including FAIRs, NCRs, SCARs, and customer reports. Review material certifications and supporting documentation. Monitor and report non-conformances, escalating issues when required. Ensure all inspection activities comply with customer and quality management system requirements.
