Mechanical Quality Inspector

Mechanical Quality Inspector Drayton, Oxfordshire £40,404 - £42,328 per annum Our client is looking for an experienced, dynamic and qualified Mechanical Quality Inspector to take control of all aspects of quality control from material supply, through policing in-process inspection, to final delivery along with a disciplined and ''hands on'' approach to dimensional inspection. The role will involve customer and supplier liaison, management of NCR''s and development of corrective/preventative actions in line with ISO 9001 standards and further development/improvement of the system. Mechanical Quality Inspector Roles and Responsibilities: Inspecting, confirming and authorising in-coming materials and returns from Outsources Approving In-Process production and validating ''First-Off measurements Upkeep, Maintenance and calibration of Metrology gauges and equipment to ISO 9001 Documenting all inspection results on companVs internal systems Raising and investigating NCR''s with implementation of corrective/preventive measures Presentation of KPI statistics for monthly review Liaison with customers and suppliers including conducting audits where required.
