Striving for innovation and creativity you can ensure no two days will be the same. 52.54 per hour inside IR35 / umbrellaThe role:To provide Mechanical Engineering support to the Power and Propulsion Systems Team engaged in the functional design of the latest Naval Ships.Contribute to mechanical elements of the design of the design of the River Class Destroyer Power and Propulsion systems.Including:- Propulsion Motors- Diesel Generators- Gas Turbine- Propulsion Gearbox- Shaftline- Steering gear and StabilisersProvide suppport to the team in order to assess technical compliance, integration and review of design documentation for the ship''s propulsion motors procurement pack.Implement change to PandP systems away from baseline ship design, assessing impacts on equipment, systems and spatial design.Support PandP compartment owners in the Zonal Maturity programme.Skills:To succeed within this role, ..... full job details .....
