Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Planning & Coordination:

    • Develop and manage mechanical project schedules in line with the overall construction program.

    • Coordinate design development and ensure compliance with mechanical specifications and codes.

    • Collaborate with architects, consultants, and general contractors to ensure design intent is maintained.

  • Cost & Budget Control:

    • Prepare and manage mechanical budgets and forecasts.

    • Review and approve subcontractor quotations and change orders.

    • Track expenditures and manage cost control measures.

  • Health, Safety & Compliance:

    • Ensure all mechanical activities are compliant with health and safety regulations.

    • Conduct regular site inspections and implement corrective actions as needed.

    • Maintain compliance with local building codes and industry standards.

  • Reporting & Documentation:

    • Provide regular project updates to senior management and stakeholders.

    • Maintain accurate project documentation including drawings, RFIs, change orders, and commissioning records.

    • Manage project close-out including testing, commissioning, and handover.

Requirements:

  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, plumbing, and mechanical codes and standards.

  • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
