Mechanical Project Manager

Location: LeicesterSalary: Competitive + Package (DOE)Role Overview We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to join a major 76-week new build prison project in Leicester. This is a key role responsible for managing the delivery of all mechanical packages across the project, ensuring works are completed safely, on programme, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.The successful candidate will have a strong mechanical background, ideally from a plumbing, heating, pipefitting, or mechanical building services discipline, with proven experience managing mechanical installations on large-scale construction projects.Key Responsibilities Lead the delivery of all mechanical works from installation through to commissioning and handover.Manage mechanical subcontractors, suppliers, and specialist installers on site.Oversee plumbing, heating, pipework, plant room, and associated mechanical installations.Monitor programme progress and ensure mechanical packages are delivered in line with project milestones.Coordinate mechanical activities with the wider project team and other trades.Manage project costs, variations, procurement, and resource requirements relating to mechanical works.Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, quality standards, and contractual obligations.Attend and chair progress meetings, providing regular updates to senior management and the client.Review technical drawings, specifications, and installation methodologies.Support ..... full job details .....
