An opportunity has arisen for a Mechanical Project Manager to join a market leading business in North Manchester (outside city centre).

Responsibilities:
andbull; Monitor and review tender documentation
andbull; Hold a good knowledge on HVAC systems especially 3/4 pipe installations of Air Conditioning
andbull; Ensure contracts are completed within timescales and budget
andbull; Ensure works are carried out safely and that reasonable and practical measures are taken to maintain the safety of all involved
andbull; Subcontractor procurement and management
andbull; Financial management of contracts, variations etc.
andbull; Manage competence and individual performance within the team
andbull; Develop relationships with new and existing clients to ensure repeat business
andbull; Maintain company standards in terms of quality
Requirements:
andbull; Minimum 5 yearsandrsquo; experience in a contracting environment, 3 of which should be supervisory level
andbull; Air Conditioning related qualification would be desirable
andbull; Ability to handle a heavy workload including managing multiple projects simultaneously
andbull; Knowledge of Mechanical systems design andamp; install
andbull; Good commercial understanding of Mandamp;E contracting working as both Principal and Sub Contractor
andbull; Strong communications skills both internal and external
andbull; Experience of working with sub-contractors and managing accordingly to ensure maximum results
