Mechanical Project Manager

a Mechanical Project Manager is required. a MandE fit-out contractor is looking to appoint an experienced Mechanical Project Manager to oversee the delivery commercial CAT A/ B Fit Out Projects in London This position would suit a commercially aware Mechanical Project Manager with a strong technical background in mechanical building services. You will take responsibility for projects from pre-construction and procurement through installation, commissioning and final handover. Key responsibilities Manage mechanical projects from initial planning through to practical completion Oversee HVAC, air conditioning, ventilation, ductwork, heating, plumbing and associated mechanical services. Manage site teams, subcontractors and specialist contractors. Coordinate mechanical installations with electrical services, architectural finishes and other trades. Review drawings, specifications and design information, raising RFIs where required. Prepare scopes of work, technical submittals, project programmes, RAMS and procurement schedules. Procure subcontract packages, plant and materials while identifying value-engineering and better-buying opportunities. Monitor project budgets, variations, applications, labour and commercial performance. Attend client, consultant, design and progress meetings.
