The Role

As a Mechanical Project Engineer, you''ll play a key role in the successful delivery of mechanical packages on projects ranging from -4 million to -20 million. Working closely with Project Managers, Site Teams, Design Engineers, and Clients, you''ll be responsible for ensuring projects are delivered safely, efficiently, on programme, and within budget.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Managing mechanical works from pre-construction through to commissioning and handover.
• Coordinating subcontractors, suppliers, and site teams.
• Ensuring all works are delivered in line with programme, quality, and budget requirements.
• Supporting procurement of mechanical equipment and materials.
• Reviewing technical drawings and specifications.
• Monitoring progress, identifying risks, and implementing solutions.
• Maintaining excellent client relationships and ensuring high standards of health and safety throughout project delivery.

About You

We''re looking for candidates who have:

• Previous experience as a Mechanical Project Engineer within the water, utilities, or civil engineering sectors.
• Strong experience delivering sewer works, pumping stations, and process/chemical works projects.
• Experience working on projects valued between -4 million and -20 million.
• A solid understanding of mechanical installations, project planning, procurement, and commercial awareness.
• Excellent organisational, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• A proactive approach with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced project environment.
