This role is focused on the delivery of complex mechanical systems essential to the continuous and safe operation of hospital environments. You will be responsible for overseeing the technical aspects of mechanical installations, ensuring compliance with rigorous healthcare standards, and managing the project lifecycle from design coordination through to final commissioning.Key ResponsibilitiesTechnical Management: Supervise the installation of mechanical services including HVAC, medical gases, chilled water systems, and plant room fit-outs.Design Coordination: Review technical drawings and specifications to ensure they align with the project''s infrastructure requirements and clinical needs.Quality Assurance: Conduct regular site inspections to ensure all mechanical works meet high-quality standards and adhere to HTM (Health Technical Memoranda) and HBN (Health Building Notes) guidelines.Subcontractor Liaison: Manage mechanical subcontractors on-site, ensuring works are completed safely, on schedule, and within budget.Procurement and Planning: Coordinate the procurement of long-lead mechanical equipment and manage detailed programmes of work to minimise disruption to hospital operations. ..... full job details .....
