Mechanical Project Engineer

Our client, based in the East Cheshire area, are looking for an experienced Mechanical Project Engineer.This is a permanent role paying 50,000 - 55,000 per annum dependant on level of experience.Hours of work are Monday to Friday 8am to 4.30pm. Potential for some flex in these hours to accommodate traffic etc.The job is commutable from the following areas: Crewe, Middlewich, Holmes Chapel, Congleton, Macclesfield, Leek, Northwich, Knutsford, Biddulph, Newcastle-under-Lyme and North Stoke areas.To be considered for the Mechanical Project Engineer role, you will need to have 5-10+ years'' experience working within mechanical engineering.You will ideally be from a process driven environment and understand interactions between moving parts; covering process machinery/plant design and associated ancillary equipment, bearings, shafts, rotating machinery, seals etc.This is a really varied role dealing with the internal design / manufacturing teams whilst also communicating with the client.Duties: Obtain and review client specifications, drawings and analyse results gained from product tests to ensure proposals meet client requirements. Preparation of proposals, including cost estimation, test reports, plant specification and design. Ensuring that each proposal meets the customer requirements. Working closely with customers and in house design / production staff to jointly manage the clients requirement.
