Mechanical Project Engineer

THE CLIENTOur client is an established mechanical engineering and building services specialist, delivering mechanical and HVAC solutions across a range of sectors. THE ROLEThe Mechanical Project Engineer will support the Mechanical Project Manager and Contracts Manager in delivering mechanical, HVAC and building services projects from handover to completion. Responsibilities include conducting site surveys, reviewing technical drawings and specifications, coordinating designs, materials and subcontractors, monitoring project programmes and providing technical support to site teams.You will liaise with clients, consultants and suppliers, help manage project variations, costs and risks, and ensure works comply with specifications, quality standards and health and safety requirements. You will also support testing, commissioning, defect resolution and the preparation of project handover documentation. Travel to sites across the UK, including occasional overnight stays, will be required. THE IDEAL CANDIDATEThe successful candidate will have experience in mechanical engineering, HVAC or building services, with a good understanding of technical drawings, project coordination and site-based delivery.
