Mechanical Project Engineer

1st Step Solutions are supporting a leading UK mechanical engineering company who have an opportunity for a Mechanical Project Engineer to join their London team.Role Overview:Our client is seeking an experienced and proactive Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of Mechanical and HVAC projects across a range of construction environments.The Project Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day coordination and management of mechanical and HVAC works, working closely with Project Managers, site teams, subcontractors, suppliers and clients. The role will involve supporting projects from pre-construction and procurement through installation, commissioning and handover, ensuring works are delivered safely, on programme, within budget and to the required quality standards.Key Responsibilities:Support the planning, coordination and delivery of Mechanical and HVAC projects from pre-construction through to completion.Manage and coordinate subcontractors, suppliers and site activities to ensure works are delivered in accordance with the project programme.Review and interpret technical drawings, specifications, schedules and other project documentation.Assist with the preparation and review of project programmes, ensuring key dates and milestones are achieved.Coordinate procurement activities, including material and equipment requirements, purchase orders and monitoring deliveries.Liaise with clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers and other project ..... full job details .....
