Reporting to the Project Engineer – Production, the role combines workshop-based mechanical work, equipment integration, testing, and quality checks. The successful candidate will be practical and organised, with hands-on experience of pumps, pipework, skids, fabricated parts, and mechanical systems. Key Duties Build, fit, modify, and test mechanical equipment including pumps, valves, pipework, frames, and skids. Work from engineering drawings, P&IDs, and specified build requirements. Refurbish and adapt existing hire equipment where required. Carry out mechanical inspections, fit-up, alignment, and quality checks. Work with the workshop team to complete builds safely and to schedule. Prepare equipment and systems for FATs and functional testing. Check supplier components and packages against required standards and specifications. Support the integration of externally manufactured mechanical assemblies.
