Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Devizes Up to £45,000 per annum We''re looking for a hands-on Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join an established maintenance team supporting a busy precision engineering manufacturing environment. Working across two sites, you''ll be responsible for maintaining a wide range of equipment, including CNC lathes, machining centres and bespoke in-house machinery. What You''ll Be Doing Carrying out planned preventative maintenance (PPM) and reactive repairs. Fault finding and troubleshooting mechanical issues. Supporting the reliability and performance of production machinery. Working closely with electrical engineers and production teams. Recording maintenance activities using the CMMS system. Assisting with continuous improvement activities. What We''re Looking For Time-served apprenticeship (NVQ Level 3 or equivalent). At least 2 years'' post-apprenticeship maintenance experience. Strong mechanical fault-finding skills. Experience maintaining manufacturing or production machinery. Multi-skilled or electrical knowledge would be advantageous. Experience with CNC machinery would be highly desirable, particularly multi-spindle lathes. What''s on Offer?
