About the Role

The Mechanical Maintenance Technician Oil position in Portlethen involves servicing Downhole motors and Progressive Cavity Pumps. Your primary duty will be to ensure equipment remains operationally ready, thereby minimising asset downtime for clients. Suitable applicants should possess mechanical workshop experience, ideally with rugged machinery used in oil and gas, or within Downhole or Wireline systems, though training is available. This contract role offers a daily rate of £12-16. You will work as part of a team dedicated to delivering fully maintained tools. The role requires a methodical approach to inspection, repair, and testing of specialised components.

Mechanical Technician required to maintain Downhole motor and Progressive Cavity Pumps. The ideal candidate will have mechanical workshop experience ideally on rugged machine maintenance for the oil and gas industry, Downhole or Wireline systems, but this is not essential.
