Mechanical Maintenance Technician

Mechanical Technician | Shifts-

• 1 week on 6am-2pm
• 1 week on 8am-4pm-/ move onto nights if required with additional uplift
• 1 week on 2pm-10pm

Jackson Hogg are delighted to be supporting our client with the appointment of a Mechanical Technician to join their growing Maintenance department.-

You will be working as part of a team problem-solving, preventative maintenance, inspection, fault-finding and repair.-

This role also includes the requirement to respond to breakdowns with the technical ability to diagnose and rectify faults safely and efficiently with minimal impact to port operations. The role is hands-on, covering planned and reactive work. The technician will support operations, work closely with engineering management, and act as a role model for safe working and good standards.

Skills Required

• Time served and ideally you will be HNC Qualified-
• Previous experience in a heavy industry environment-
• Good fault-finding and problem-solving skills
