Mechanical Maintenance Technician

We are working with our valued client to facititate a Mechanical Maintenance Technician to join them at the new premises in Stowmarket working with Solar and Sandwich Panels. You will a part of a new team adding skills and value from the start! Key Responsibilities Must have technical background and qualifications for mechanical maintenance. Install, maintain, and repair mechanical components and plant equipment using engineering drawings, tools, and workshop machinery. Hydraulic and pneumatic knowledge is a must. Familiarity with pumps and chemical dosing is beneficial. Respond to any equipment breakdown in a timely manner to ensure continuity of the production line. Carry out daily inspections and regular preventive maintenance. Ability to read technical drawings and take measurements. Participate in continuous improvement projects related to the production line. Report findings and solutions for any kind of breakdown. Ability to work effectively within a maintenance team. Comply with Health and Safety legislation at all times. Additional Information Experience a must! Initial tasks will include assisting in machine installation, followed by full-time work at the factory. Experience in a similar sector is advantageous. Experience in the panel, insulation, or cladding sector is preferred, but relevant industrial experience will also be considered.
