Mechanical Maintenance Trainer Salary: £38,000 £41,500 DOEMonday Friday Permanent No shifts, weekends or callouts Location - Washington Training Facility About the Role Are you an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Fitter, Maintenance Technician, or Fluid Power Engineer looking to take the next step in your career and share your industry knowledge with the next generation of engineers? This is a fantastic opportunity to move away from the day-to-day pressures of the shop floor and use your hands-on engineering experience to inspire and develop future technicians. We re looking for someone with a strong background in mechanical maintenance, fault finding, hydraulics, pneumatics, and industrial systems. Someone who understands how machinery operates, enjoys problem solving, and takes pride in helping others develop their technical skills. You don t need previous teaching experience. Full training and support will be provided to help you transition into the role of Engineering Instructor / Assessor. What You ll Be Doing Delivering practical engineering training across Mechanical Maintenance, Mechanical Systems, Hand Fitting, and Fluid Power principles. Demonstrating and assessing skills including mechanical assembly, component replacement, fault diagnosis, maintenance procedures, and repair techniques.
