You will play a vital role in maintaining a wide range of heavy industrial machinery and production equipment, ensuring maximum plant availability and minimising costly production downtime. Key Responsibilities Carry out planned, preventative and reactive mechanical maintenance across the manufacturing site. Diagnose and repair mechanical faults on heavy production machinery and plant. Work on equipment including conveyors, gearboxes, pumps, bearings, hydraulics, pneumatics and mechanical drive systems. Respond quickly to breakdowns and minimise production downtime. Carry out inspections and identify potential equipment failures before they occur. Strip, overhaul, repair and rebuild mechanical equipment.
