My client has a strong global presence and they dominate their sector as the market leader in the UK. Through continued growth they require a mechanical maintenance engineer to come in and minimise machinery downtime. A great opportunity to be recognised in a fast paced manufacturing environment.

Your Duties:

* Planned and reactive maintenance of processing machinery and ancillary equipment

* Replace/repair parts and fitting bearings/gears

* Strip downs, inspections and rebuilds of roll mill stands

* Mechanical fault finding and testing

* Rotating shifts days only including weekends

Your Experience

* Mechanical maintenance engineer or fitter from a heavy factory environment (backgrounds from Manufacturing, FMCG, Construction or similar)

* NVQ Level 3 mechanical qualification or equivalent

* Strong fitting capabilities with experience using induction heaters and presses
