      <description>Location: Selby | Salary: 10000-500000 Annual | Type: Permanent | Role Purpose The Mechanical Maintenance Engineer will be responsible for carrying out planned, predictive and reactive mechanical maintenance to ensure optimum efficiency of all machinery and plant requirements are met. Involvement in all mechanical activities on a day-to-day basis, current projects, and future projects. Key activities and Responsibilities  Perform planned, predictive, and reactive mechanical maintenance in a timely manner, whilst adhering to safe working procedures Attending breakdowns, fault finding and conducting rectifications of faults Perform preventative maintenance inspection (PM), diagnose, repair, and rebuild major equipment/components including pumps, centrifuges, screw conveyors, gearboxes, milling equipment, pulleys, shafts, bearing and belts Perform Daily Equipment Inspections (DEI) and greasing schedules Involvement in the testing, improvement and maintenance of manufacturing processes and infrastructure Work in conjunction with contractors/vendor service teams when more specialised skills are required Support the implementation of a computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) of all repairs, servicing, and modifications to equipment Work towar...</description>
